EVICTION

1. Shitbag
He strolls down the ave at 12pm
He stops at the mission for a bag of bread
He buys the state minimum smokes from the store
He runs out of roach traps and waits to buy some more
He'll stop at deals to buy a half a dozen
He wears cut off sweatpants
That his brother didn’t need
He’s loud and braggadocious to everyone he meets About his job at the junk yard
He works at 2 days a week
He pays his cable bill before his rent
He says I’ll pay the 7th and it came and went.
He uses a bedsheet to smoke in the kitchen
As his kids are in the living room their rashes an itchin’

2. King Of The Pack
He collects your scrap and throws it in a pile
Don’t matter if its broken, don’t matter ifs its vile
He’s got 3 grills and 14 coolers
He’s got 4 settings he swears he got from a jeweler
5 trash cans stacked on top of an oil barrel
6 boxes of roach motels to protect his apparel
2 propane tanks for his broken grills
A burned out generator in case of a disaster
Got affine china in a litter basket
Used to be for his former kitten
Until that mutt got a hold of Toonses
Now that cat’s with the rotten corpses
King of the pack
King of the pack
King of the pack rats

3. Migraines
I saw you sleeping there like my dreams
Of a swollen ratty corpse
What were you dreaming of on the couch
maybe the mail from the courts
He said you get migraines
a reason for your absence from the labor force
as your children swing from the lamps
with their meds laying on the floor
A migraine slumber through all the noise
Of mayhem all around you
Shit, piss, fish, rotten mayonnaise
Are the smells that surround you
If you lost your last breath
Would they know to revive you
Or let you sleep there peaceful
With the methadone they provide you
He says you get migraines.

4. And I Thought (She Was Pregnant)
I had an awful dream
When I saw you walking down the street
Your puffy sweater bulged
Where a baby might be
You may have bought it from the thrift store
And didn’t fit quite right
But I never saw the announcement
So I kept my mouth shut tight
As i thought about it
I really couldn’t tell
That behavior would indicate
She was going straight to hell
Smokes funny cigs in the backyard
With the kiddies playing near
Scenes i cant imagine
I'd ever want to see or hear
And I thought she was pregnant
Until I heard from this guy
That junkies cure cause puffy
Bloated livers all the time
I knew it when I met them
But didn’t stop me from letting in
A distended belly princess
And her dirty fat friend

5. All I Need Is You
I need you like a fly needs a crumb
Like a whore needs a john
Like a tweaker needs a sniff
Like a toker needs a spliff
You need me like a dog needs a walk
Like a beggar needs to talk
Like a junky needs a needle
Like this fatty needs a meal
Lets go walk hand in hand
To 7/11 and grab a box of ham
Or a pack of smokes and we can drag all night
Under the fluorescent light

6. Apple (Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree)
Mentally delayed
Challenged a bit
Making a noise
Where words should fit
Pushed and prodded
Showed and thrown
That they didn’t take them away
My mind is blown
The apple….
Doesn’t fall far from the tree

7. My Best Friend
His name is Ray
And he’s the best bud a guy could have
He leaves Cheetos on the floor
For all my brothers to have
He never finishes a meal
And never cleans up his plate
I just wait in the shadows
For him to shift his weight
He once had a cat that he fed to his mutt
He got a bag for him
And got meth for his love
He keeps me safe and warm
With his oven open and on high
He'll never know how much it means to me
With every dropped French fry
His name is Ray and he’s my best friend.

8. Maverick
He’s a maverick
He's a bad ass son of a bitch.
He calls a spade a spade
And any relevant female, a fucking bitch
A real straight shooter
And a self-serving prick
He smokes a pack a day
Tells his diabetes to fuck off
Eats Cheetos by the pound
Dollar store pasta in bulk
Lets his dog shit on the floor
Tells his kid to watch wear you walk
He’s a maverick
he’s an expert on life
knows how to spackle corner joints
and soldier your pipes
Use food stamps to pay
for smokes for his junkie wife
He’s A Maverick

9. Pennies
You left a present
A little token of gratitude
Then I saw the contents
It shows your attitude
A heavy brown jar
The opening matches your ineptitude
I thought you left it
It wasn’t worth the effort
If on purpose it was the one
Thing you did that was clever
4 thousand one hundred twenty five
Pennies...you left me pennies
It stood proud
A monument of the day
and it went unnoticed
From the squalor of your stay
Even bedbugs packed up
And went away
Dirty Ray
Went to collect at the counter of coins
The hole was too small for the others to join
Picking and shaking a great big bottle of pennies
You left me pennies
Your collections ranged from junk to trash
A value of little worth
But you'll have your sense of entitlement
And your food stamps on the first
I can see how you live in this mess
As dirtbags go you are truly the best
Now i see how to soil an address and leave em pennies

10. Jar In A Jar
Jar in a jar, jar in a jar,
We know what you are
With your jar in a jar
You got 10 scripts from temple physicians
She bought 4 jars of Fishtown’s edition
You get your fix at the NorthEast clinic
Too hard to tell which one was in it
You hiding it from the DHS
You hiding it from your kids
You hiding it from your family
I don’t think that’s it
You put it all together,
To keep it neat and clean
Does it keep it fresher?
I see what you mean
You’re a credit to your race,
You some stand up people
My only wish for you is that live with your uncle
Till your old and feeble with your
Labels scratched off what the facts
was your name on the original packs
embarrassed by your name being with the diagnosis
or just a dirty rat with a psychosis
What made you think i would want you to stay
When i don’t see any money my way
As the bathroom leaks splash all over the place
And you let your family live in that space
You know the system and i know your type
You’ll live in filth to be the head of the house
But it always ends and your back where you belong
Wilson meats for now but really how long?
